So i was on the highways and i decided to pass someone, so i got in the left lane and gaver to pass went from 7 psi to BAM! 10 inches of vac, i was like WTF!!! pulled off the highways, and checked it out, no boost bov isnt opening NOTHING shut the car off, and checked to see if my turbo turns…nope… siezed… wont turn at all! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so im putting one in on Tuesday.
But i do have a question?.. Even tho my turbo is siezed you think it would be okay to drive still or should i not?..
I ruined my b16 by driving it 2 days witht the Turbo seized, since it won’t spin it puts all the strain on the piston rings. don’t drive it.
see thanks man, iv had it parked and im scared as hell lol, i have a new/used one comming. but im thinkin just take this opertuntiy to go t3/t4… idk, but ill keep ya posted.
my lsvt loves the t3t4 better, the t3 spooled hella qwik, but thismakes better power IMHO
get the t3/t4…you will like it better imo
well t3/t4 is the direction ill be heading for next summer, i dont have enough money to get the dump pipe, the new turbo and the injectors with the tuning due to me just moving into my new plce this weekend. so im going to put another one like this , and when i drive my 91 da beater, ill invest some time and money into t3/t4 :):) Happy spoolin!!!
