b16 head at machine shop for a good cleaning and re surface.
Ordering a full super tech valve train with crower cams.
Ordered a Moroso oil pan .
Should have it running by April.

Sealed up modified Type R oil pump.
Rear main seal.
Installed Morosso 5 qt sumped oil pan.
Waiting on super tech valve train to come in.
Then need to figure out some cams, after market intake manifold and 1200cc injectors at least.

Heads done this weekend, just ordered brian crower stage 2 turbo cams to finish it off.
Next is clutch and 12-1600 cc injectors.
Who’s the best tuner Honda wise in Denver? Thinking Import sports unless otherwise.

DO NOT go to Import Sports. Had a friends car almost fall off the dyno there, not too mention other things that make me question his skill sometimes, lol. Why not Servion? What’s your power goals? I’d recommend Injector Dynamics. Installed some in my buddy’s Prelude and they run awesome! What are you thinking for the clutch?

Gonna shoot for 500whp. Heard Servion doesnt really care for Hondas tuning wise and does a half ass job. Could be wrong.
ACT or competition clutch, stage 5 stock flywheel.


Everything is built turbo upgraded, or replaced,or new!
Down to a new intake and exhaust manifold, competition clutch, break motor in, bigger injectors, solenoids, tune with boost by gear. Let’s see what I max this turbo out at :slight_smile:

It’s a modified R pump from KMS engineering. More pressure/volume.

Motors about done!
New turbo manifold should be here today, then just need a clutch, intake manifold, throttle body and full catch can setup.
Towed my car to my shop from storage to start getting the bay cleaned/ready. Hope to have it done by May and tuned early June, if not sooner.

Motor is about done. Assembly and all motor parts on. I need to modify valve cover for catch can.
Gonna clean up the bay a little bit then drop it in. I will need to modify my down pipe and wastegate with the new manifold but that’s nothing big.
I eliminated the charcoal canister so plan on putting the catch can there.
I am thinking off getting the piping, valve cover, intake manifold, other random pieces polished. I’d like that bling but we’ll see.
Then break the motor in, swap in some 1600cc injectors and get a good tune, cam gears and all.
Will update.

8 Years later, still got the car and working on it. Suspension this time around.
