congrats on the turbo setup man! sounds pretty f-ing good. Maybe one day i’ll stop spending all my money taking my girlfriend out to restaraunts and actually finish my turbo. heh. Question- how’s that intake mani? i’ve pretty much never given that company a second look since EVERYONE on g2ic had complaints about them. let me know what you think about it? also, do you have any numbers on your setup? et’s, anything? i’m curious to know how your setup throws down.
Ditto…especially if you actually beat those two setups…you must be running way too much boost at too much ignition advance. Your engine doesnt like you right now…
go ahead diss on me. afc hack my ass if it works it works. im getting my ecu chipped with uberdata anyways. im waiting to get it back. even so, im only running 5 psi with the internal waste gate, and yes i did tune it. i put more time then money into this project and it came out great. runs smooth dosent leak or smoke, it runs a little too rich but other then that its awsome. about the xs power intake mani …well it didnt fit all that great but its modeled after a type r so its basically the same thing.
I was not dissing anyone, I was just informing you that your shit will blow within the next 2 months on the afc hack. I tune cars every week, with a wideband, how did you tune without one? musta took a long time checking plugs.
If you want to get tuned on uberdata/turboedit/bre LMK, I’m located in Palm harbor. its 20 mins north of cleawater beach. If your willing to drive down here, I can get it done in a night.
deffently need to get it tuned soon. i reved to 8900 while running a bike last thursday night. it spun #1 and #4 rod bearing. so i pulled the engine the next day and disassembled it the next night. im waiting for a crank right now. the crank was turned before 20 thoustants already so i dont want to use it no more… ill prolly have to just have order one from carquest. cause nobody i know has an extra. but anyway after i plastic gauge the crank and blueprint the block ill start putting everything back together the right way.
I’ll be in the tampa area within the next couple of weeks. what do i need to have for you to tune it. remmber its obdo NOT obd1 so let me know if you can still tune it.
aight depending on how soon i find a crank ill let you know when ill be in area. what can you do to the ecu? wut do you mean by 24" o2 bong :shrug: ? and how else can you tune it?
a bung, a place for my wideband o2 sensor to screw into. I will be tunning A/F and timing. I’d rather you convert it to obd1, I like the obd1 rom editor alot better. I’ll get it done with turboedit but, I don’t like it very much.
well, whats in the fully built ls/vtec? FI is a much better value for power. Congrats on your build, but NA builds are usually done with a diff. intent.
