I will wait for him too. Now we have atleast 2 people waiting for the answer. Maybe that will get him to post sooner. ![]()
i wanna know too…my aerospeed camber kit got crushed by a pothole
Might have to just go with the SPC balljoint…i just dont want something that hits or readjusts itself. I’m dropped about 2.25-2.5 right now (tein ss) and might drop a little more, and the car will be seeing track time (drag and road course) and I do not want any issues
Ok, it’s been awhile, and the balljoints are still good after some abusive driving and autocross ^^. My drop is about 2.75", spring rate 455.
NOTICE The control arms do bottom out when hitting the harshest of potholes. But it really has to be bad… I mean teeth jarring-eye-squinting-would aviod it under any circumstances-pray my wheel isn’t bent-bad. Other than that, caster is a bit off, but still within spec. Toe is right on and camber (maxed out) is right at the 1 degree max of spec. Wheels are 15’s (but I keep 'em clean, lol)
p.s. cameraphone sucks lol, all I got, sorry
so from wat my friend told me. i heard theres a company making adjustable arms for the DA/EF. i forgot wat the company is.
whats the diff between these and the skunk arms and will the they fit on a 90 db1 just the same as the skunk arms fit on the car posted in the pics
Look at the difference between the two. Here is a pic of the skunk2’s:

And a pic of the Ebay ones:

Different design. The skunk2’s look like they could handle abit more abuse, but how much abuse does the UCA really get?
well i found two good things … skunk2 makes adj. ball joints for da’s?? http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25_75&products_id=1217&osCsid=eb3b785af2fcf4011d7413cf1f2a8b83
and heres the arm zboi is talking about… http://www.revotechnica.com/Stage2.htm
so the da is finnaly getting some aftermarket love ![]()
I dont think the revo’s have been released yet, and skunk2 doesnt make a kit for DAs yet that link is just to convert a skunk2 kit to a skunk2 pro kit, dont know why they labeled it for DAs ![]()
So since tegatron has a hybrid suspension, does anyone know if these will fit an all-DA suspension? I have started to hate my ingalls camber kit with all of it’s squeaking, and my stock A-arms have 204,000 miles on them and I’m afraid the ball joints might break soon. Also it seems like the Omni Power control arms would fit if the Skunk 2 fit, and they are a bit cheaper.
First of all we need the fucking qoute button…
As far as I know ingalls adjustable balljoints are pretty much the same for all integras are they not? I mean when you look on ebay or other online stores they say 90-01 Integra. So, with that said the kit that was posted could be used on stock DA A-arms, could it not?
tegatron - was there any modification needed to make them work properly? have you experienced any binding, noises… any troubles at all? Reason I ask, I have some shitty kit on my car and fucking I swear its creaking and popping, becuase a friend of mine and I went through the car on a lift trying to figure out what could be creaking/popping etc. So basically, I’d need a kit for a 94+ Integra, once I receive it and go to install I simply put hte driver side A-arm on the passenger side and the passenger side on the driver side? If its that simple, then awesome. Thanks man.
There is no question about the adjustable balljoints, many people have used them. The question is about the whole upper control arm replacement (which is a much better option IMO). The skunk2 link above is a replacement balljoint for a skunk2 camber kit, which they do not make for our DAs, not a standalone adjustable balljoint
However, if you read the description on the skunk2 (really jhpusa.com) link, it says, “90-93 INTEGRA [DA]” above the picture. So they apparently make the upper BJs with plates (to be used on adjustable UCAs) for a 90-93 DA, but don’t make the adjustable UCA for the 90-93 DA. Odd.
Yeah I think they just have it mislabeled as skunk2 hasnt released the DA arms.
Tegatron said they worked just fine just set the caster off a hair (which can be adjusted if you have traction bars anyways…), and it would only hit on a really really really bad pothole that you shouldn’t be hitting anyways. Also, the skunk2 pro kit is much better about clearance and much much higher quality. And as far as it working on a non-hybrid system it shouldn’t make a difference because the only difference really is the shock fork with the DC-hybrid suspension on the front.
Yeah, caster was what I was concerned about. Since I don’t have a traction bar, I wouldn’t be able to adjust that. Well I guess I won’t be putting the a-arms in then, unless there is another way to adjust caster (I don’t know of one, besides the traction bar apparently.)
I emailed RevoTechnica about their a-arms, so hopefully they reply back that they are ready to be sold.![]()
He said it didnt change the caster much at all, so I wouldnt worry about it.
Also, there are some older accord radius arms you can get i beleive that are adjustable caster that fit on our tegs, i read about it somewhere on here
I have full race traction bars, so Im going to a local shop to get the Pro Series for $150 (they are like 160+ on ebay + shipping). Im going to install them and see how it goes.
Cool, be sure to let us know how it goes! And $150 is a great deal, cheapest i can find it is the ebay dealer for like $169 shipped. I’m going to get mine in a few weeks
:salute:
will do.
In for some more info.
