Skunk2 intake manifold and 68mm throttle body

Hi,

I recently found a good deal on these items together. Is there a big difference on power and response compared to the stock throttle body and intake manifold?

I am currently running a stock B18A1 engine and it is either these items or just get a manual boost controller and set it up to 10psi.

So will it just make sense to upgrade or just bump the boost to 10psi? Currently running 7psi of boost on a T3 Skyline turbocharger. Thanks!

youll have a bigger difference on power and response if you turn the boost to 12psi its only good to about 270hp do you know if you have the one with the ceramic wheel

the stock b18a/b intake manifold is disgustingly restrictive at higher rpm’s. if you have the cash, definitely get the intake manifold/throttle body and up the boost. then you’ll be happy.

Hello, I currently have the aluminum wheel on the compressor side. I have the ceramic wheel turbocharger as a spare. I have no idea which one makes more power.

I heard that you can safely boost up to 10psi or 12psi with this turbocharger

they both make the same power the ceramic wheel tends to break due to the heat. those are found on the kouki GTR’S I think

my friends R32 GTR was running 15psi on stock turbos, he went through 3 “sets” of turbos (6 damn turbos!) but then he has a friend that has a R32 GTR with stock twins at 20psi! and its his first set!!! so i guess it comes down to mileage/wear/luck lol…
