I need a hook up on sleeving a h22 if anybody gots any. The best deal i got so far is 1100 for t-sleeves. I’m in San Jose ca. Just looking for a local shop or a shop in ca.
Just to give alittle insight on my latest project :burnout:
what i have:
Wesico pistons 88mm 8.5:1 comp.
GE h-beam rods
OBX IM
STR 68mm throttle body
atr head studs
Still need:
Hondata boost
sleeving deck and hone
Bearings and gaskets
And dont forget tunning
Car is already turbo’d with my h22. Was boosting 10psi un tuned and yep it didnt last long. Blow all four pistons ringlands…I’m shotting for 400hp,do my traction than boost up to 500hp.
Talk to Earl on H-T. I believe he is in So Cal and a Benson sleeved block is your best bet. Last time I checked he was doing them for $950 shipped back to you so if you can pickup/dropoff it would probably be cheaper…
definitely look into it, but don’t be disappointed if it’s more. H-series tends to get the shaftola when it comes to sleeving. I know GE adds 100 bones for H/F/K-series, and have heard similar from other companies.
Thats a deal right there. Hope the offer is still good. Going to call on monday. The sleeve job i got quoted was for t-sleeves (1100) and 250 more for the copper o-ring (1350)…
by the way anybody looking for pistons at a good price try www.eraceparts.com 359 for wesico pistons with pins and rings…
i just had my car tuned out at rcrew racing in brisbane. it made 361hp at 13psi on pump gas. the guy doing the tuning is a pretty smart guy. give them a call at 415-467-2246.
