Would it be ok to just super glue the pieces back together? Or can I just shove it in a tighter O-ring and call it a day?
one of my stock injectors did that, but I put it in anyway and it seems to work fine. they dont normally seal against that part, so it was ok for me, but its only temporary for me. Im pulling my motor in less than two months.
Cool I didn’t think it would but I just wanted to make sure. I’m going to be getting some 750’s soon so these are temporary as well:)
That’s just the pintel(sp?) cap. A lot of people run without them without a problem.
Give RC Engineering a call, ya know, the ones who make the RC injectors? They reuilt a friends injectors for about $100. They replaced two broken pintles, flowed them, and sent back the flow charts for each one.
Yeah I can chime in here. I also recieved 2 broken tipped injectors in the mail. I did a little research and it seems all those do is protect the spindle for storage out of the fuel rail. Sweet irony eh?

It’s also always a good idea to have used injectors sent out to be flow matched. I can’t really say much because I didn’t do it, but I’m told that you should.

These guys will test, clean and replace caps for $12/injector. Good stuff. As said, the caps aren’t needed to work correctly.
RC engineering can fix them.
thats just the pintle cap. ive run 450/s with no cap and had no problems. however, if its partially broken, take it completely off so it doesnt fall into your cylinder
