thanks. didn’t plan on it
Can snorky, just remove the liner until the alignment is done?
I don’t think so, because even if the inner liner wasn’t there, it would hit the edge of the shock tower.
Besides, it is easier to adjust the camber kit to a lower setting than to remove the fender liner.
so i take it he’s not having any more problems…
and yet the dispute is still open so… i dunno.
after reading this i wouldnt refund anything.if he does what has been said to do, and can take pics that it still doesnt work. then maybe a small refund or something. and also i can say thanks, im installing my camber kits this weekend and didnt know of this problem…

thanks. didn’t plan on it
and you wonder y the dispute was open
anyways… either way…
there are in.
i just said that the upper control arm will cause a small piece of plastic to chip off.
#1 no it does not only hit plastic, there is metal underneath the plastic
i had to take my plasma cutter to this and cut off a good chunk in order for it to fully lower.
but if thats ‘how its suppose to work’ then thats what i need to do
paypal dispute is closed if thats what u were worried about,
camber kits are in, and a big chunk of metal was cut out…im done with this.
my apologies to the seller, for accusing him they are the right kit
but i wouldve perferred to not have to cut anything…
i still dont see why you had to cut anything.
…and… no problem i guess…
LOL. I guess it’ll be alignment time once he notices that his “TOE” is way out of wack.
Get ready to be blamed for that too Chad.
I don’t see why he had to cut anything either unless he is dropped 4 inches or something rediculous like that. but he never answered any of the questions we asked in order to try to help him.
So I’m thinking either, he didn’t listen to anything anyone suggested and really did cut a chunk out of his car.
Or he DID realize what he had done, Fixed it, and didn’t admit it on the forum.
Either way, the important thing is that the misunderstanding got resolved.
If our info helped him, then good. If he didn’t use the suggestions, then that’s fine too. It’s his perrogative, and his car.

i did have it at the lowest setting and it still hit the fender line,
it probably would have clear it if i woulda drove it and it would probably juss tuck underneath the line,
but i didnt was to risk anything so i trimmed a piece off :\
its a fucking peice of plastic liner
jebus
mine has been rubbing since i droped the car
no biggy
if it still its metal its either 1) installed wrong or 2) NOT adjusted to its lowest setting
Just curious… Snorky, why didn’t you just take it to the alignment shop? So what if you had to tow it. Better than cutting off a chunk.
closing thread. let it go.
