Since i can’t seem to sell my turbo kit (turbonetics for a 94-01 teg), i guess i will have no choice but to dice up my charge pipes and install the turbo into my project car. The project car will be running a B18c GSR bottom end and a b16a head. I mocked up the head on the b16 engine that i have sitting in the car right now and the manifold seems to clear the stock radiator and the AC fan. It doesn’t clear the stock main fan by a little, though. I think i will end up scooting the fan toward the passenger side about half an inch with some brackets that i will be making and end up re-soldering the bottom bracket as the radiator tanks are brass. The downpipe seems to clear the locations of the AC and power steering but i am not sure yet.

This project will take a while since i still need to finish registration and do my smog certification. I will try to BAR the car and pass it off as an obd1 gsr. I really don’t want to go turbo but as it seems, i have made my bed…

i pretty much have everything except my ecu which i am supposed to get from white90 and software for my laptop.

i guess i’ll keep everyone updated!

i have a 3mill headgasket that will work great with that motor. will lower the comp to low 8. i bought it for the same set up you have but ended up sleeving a block yada. you gotta get a set of cam gears though. i would also get some GSR cams. they are turbo friendly! gl b/c its a real BITCH.

it so happens that i have a set of aem cam gears and the b16 head that i have "supposedly has gsr cams in it. by same setup, do you mean the turbo or the engine? how much for the gasket? how much power (ballpark might i be looking at in NA form?? thanks for the input!

when i was N/A with that setup it was okay… but the setup is boost friendly!! when you throw a b16 head on a b18c1 block it lowers the comp ratio already so throwing a 3mill headgasket will lower it even more to 8 something. the head gasket is BRAND NEW so go to inline pro and look it up and ill work with you shipped.
