SortaFlush's DA Build

i thought that username looked familiar. you recently built and sold a bobber?

welcome and loving the car. I can lend a hand if you ever need it.

A lot of people laughed at the car upon first look, would be like “Yeah, this Honda will be a quick kill”…until I was three walmarts out on them haha.
Hah, you do have a point there, sir.

So are you actually going to build the motor on the DA? I see its your ‘daily’ but… We all know how that tends to go lol.
Honestly,

I’m starting a lawncare business. I will need to keep my license, I am not messing around on the street anymore. Most likely what I’ll do is throw a turbo kit on just for the “cool” factor and increased mpg during cruising and the occasional 1-3rd pull just for fun. But that is it. The 240 wants a cage, 2871Rs .86, Cams, injectors, tune, knuckles and paint.

Fancy seeing you here, I just saw your name and saw the same thing! LOL. Yeah, I just built and sold my bobber. Had 1200 total in it, sold it for $2350 then picked up the Integra.

LMAO that’s harsh

nice. I picked up a 1977 yamaha to do a cafe racer but the DA is taking up all my time and money so i’m probably going to be letting the bike go soon.

Ahh yeah I got you man. Priorities heh. Good luck on the business venture.

Any idea on price of said bike? I may could use another… is it 2 or 4 cyl?

I appreciate it man. Should be one of many businesses to come

This is sick. Where did you find the esm rims? I have been looking for that style rim for years for my da but didn’t know who made them. They always reminded me of the stockers on the ferrari f40!

nice ride  Glad to see another VA member !

never seen that color before, i like it! welcome!

I appreciate all the comments,

I’ve gotten the bug…

the boost bug. Most likely going to start collecting parts. LOL.

AH SNAP lol

i like the wheels. Are your wheels camberd? how do u like the front camber? i had sknk2 frnt cambers took em off cuz i didnt like how they hit. i got some 15s 3inch lip in the front 5.5inch lip on back no camber kits but my pan hits like crazy i thin ima go 17x9 front and 17x11 in back

That’s dope, I like that. They smack, factory ones smacked too. It’s inevitable at the ride height we drive at ;).

Fix for that;

notching the shock towers. I will be doing that here soon. I am also waiting on my new coilovers to come in, just got my extended top hats (which should help with control arm smacking since it increases shock travel which reduces bottoming out).

I didn’t want to go tooooo aggressive with my wheels, because it is just my beater and VA roads are TERRIBLE.

i have top hats now with no camber and they dont smack at that hight not going n e lower because got tired of changing oil pans lol well the streets of LA are all bad but i want to stop daily driving her. i dnt wana notch it cuz im shaving and painting my bay n i didnt want the holes but i did but db2 front sopinddles they seem to sit alot lower

Well, when I notch mine, I’m going to rebuild the structure of it so it is enclosed still. I am at -3.8 front camber (skunk 2 pro kits maxed out) and -2.5 rear camber on both sides and it’s sitting flush. I didn’t roll the fenders, just beat the inner part of it upwards.

oh ok i do have mine rolled or flaird idk what they call it now cuz ppl tell me differ i knw they used a roller and i did it years ago like 4 maybe i knw that at the time ther was only 2 ppl doing them in Cali so it was not cheep like it is now but it was good work. i have clearence for another inch in front and another in back  ima go nutts im looking at CCW and kodiaks

Nice, your fenders are just rolled is what it looks like. Pulled is where it is actually almost horizontal in some spots. Good news is, eastwood fender rollers are only like 236 dollars shipped now a days and are relatively easy. I do all my own cars now. I would make the Integra super dope, but I plan on buying another S2000 after I buy a house and build the S2000 for time attack.

thats less then wat i paid to roll them lol fuk it. s2k r nice, r they fast? the reason i asked cuz its been like 3 times ill catch 1 on the hwy and they never wana race :frowning: . thats cool i try n do most of my own work too cheeper lol
