How u like those extended top hats??
And were did u get them at?
[QUOTE=SortaFlush;2252317]Yes and no. It’s a 7.3L not the 6leaker. Right now, I am daily driving it. Just dyno’d it last night too haha.

hahaha. figured you were smarter than that. what year? must be 00, or 01 eh?
7.3 was a fine diesel motor. especially in it’s last years. 6.0 is good as well, possibly better even. debatable. regardless of what everyone says. just need to get rid of the head bolts and egr…among other things. they have problems. but there’s corrections for those problems. they can make some great power. and tbh, they don’t blow up. neither do the 7.3’s though. but the 6.0’s are more tuner friendly. i dunno. we love the 6.0 cuz they keep the lights on i guess. there are just so many of them out there. and those poor bastards have been fucked 6 ways to sunday by the dealer. the owners are just so happy to get the honest truth and an honest fix for their problems. but anyways, yeah we work on light duty diesels, predominantly. and i’m rambling haha
The extended top hats are awesome, especially since I like my cars on the ground. The car bottoms out before the suspension has a chance too…I need frame rail to ground springs hahaha.
Welfare;
trust me, I’d own a 6Leaker if I had the money to do Studs, EGR delete, oil cooler, ect ect. I love the VGT turbo sound. I wish I could do a custom truck though, 2006 4dr long bed F350, cummins engine, allison transmission. lol.
yea. i believe there are companies that make the kit for it. best of all worlds. messing with diesels is too damned expensive though.
we’ve got a nice cummins 5.9 w/sequential turbo swap and roller rockers sitting on the stand in the shop. nice little showpiece.
but anyways, keep up the good work on the teg. lookin great so far
How did you go that low on D2s? i have a set but cant go near as low as you are. Is it the preload? if so, how did you go about setting it and thus becoming that low! i dig your build though, definitely something different. Something needed in the G2 community.
Looking good, love that blue and the wheels are very nice.
nice DA had the same rims 2 years ago on my DA6 heres a pic
why didnt you weld something up over the holes where you upper control arm is like how they do on the em1’s so they dont hit instead of having it wide open and wasting paint
saw this today:

10 grand!!!
That’s the exact reason I don’t like my extended top hats. At least my traction bar thinks so.
