geez guys just eliminate your guesswork. it’s been proven . . . OEM first, NGK Blues second. end of list, end of thread.
naw, ultra 8 mm are the best cuz they are JDM
i had the same problem the wires would come off the §§§§§ but i got me some black wire ties took care of it and i got autolites
I like how people are saying that NGKs are OEM stock…not! Sumitomo’s from a honda/acura dealership are the only wire to run. And stock wires have the year they were made printed on them so you can tell how old they are too.
I’ve got msd and I really like the fit and they run pretty smooth. I did see a review one time before with actual dyno charts, even though you really don’t know how credible that is, that showed how msd and the ngk’s made the most power. The ngks made the most top end and all around power, and the msd were right behind them. Not 15+ horses or anything, but a noticable difference in the powerband.
I just got msd’s when I went to summit here in GA. I think most will have problems fitting with the distributor cap once they start to wear, but nothing major. Mine fit great.
again. it has been proven with reliable testing that OEM wires perform the best. it’s a well known fact.
I’ve got the Neuspeeds on my 91 RS,they look great and fitment is also good,I was a little dissapointed though when I changed my plugs one of the rubber boots came of the end of the wire (where it fits on the plug).A little glue though and voila!Cant say I noticed any improvement over the stock wires though.
