I can’t afford to buy the turbo kit right now, and my engine has too many miles on it for it. However, I’d like to start buying some of the stuff like fuel pump and ignition in steps because it’ll make the final lump sum of the turbo a lot cheaper. What parts can i put on my car N/A that would also work with the turbo?
IMHO, if you engine has a ton of miles on it - You should be building a new engine right now.

I’m planning on buying another motor to have sleeved so there isn’t much down time to swap. I’m keeping the b18a, so any performance parts will be able to swap over from my current motor.
My advice for you is to put your extra money to the side and leave it until you can buy it all. By time you save it, you will for sure if this is what you want. I did that too and it worked great for me. If you piece it out here and there you will eventually second guess yourself when your parts are just sitting around, believe me I did it. So I just made a little slush fund and put money off to the side everytime I had some extra coin. You will be surprised how quickly you can acccumulate money when your focused. I really wouldn’t worry to much about getting parts for N/A that works for turbo because people with bone stock B18a motors with a turbokit are putting down 270hp to 280hp to the wheels.
