How much can the stock fuel pump on a honda actually take?
well, seeing as how this is in the forced induction forum, not nearly enough!
any turbo/nitro car should have a upgraded pump, it’s just a good safety precaution.
Will a pump outta a 1g DSm work? or any other cars wit hi flow pumps? Let me know what I could get cuz my friend has an extra pump he could give me… so if that saves me money that would be great.
i dont have one and i am fine. 7 psi, i say that if u build ur motor u will need an upgrade. I dont know tho, check up on it.
well I got one from a friend… it looks pretty much universal… has power ground i guess and its gotta syphon bag at the bottom wit a hose at the top. I dont know what the stock one looks like maybe if someone got a pic. i dont wanna drop the tank and like have the pump not work… someone help me out here…
A lot of people reccomend the walbro pumps, but with a set of 450’s a nice tune, and reasonable fuel pressure, i don’t see it being a MAJOR issue. Like stated above, comptonsfinest has a stock one. I too have a stock pump. My setup…t3, uberdata basemap, 40psi fuel pressure, dsm 450s.
whats ur setup how much psi u boosting.
ive run 250whp on a stock pump using dsm 450s and stock fuel pressure w/no problems before. honestly though, for less than 100 bucks its incredible peace of mind…
