I gotta 14b turbo off a dsm Im bolting on this weekend and I wanted to know when the stock wastegate opens. If anyone has a setup like this or close and they know… any help is appreciated
The 14b wastegate opens at 10psi. If I were you I would port the wastegate hole as large as possible without affecting the flapper. Also, when the flapper is fully opened it butts up against a portion of the turbine housing. Grind this portion of the housing off so that the flapper can fully extend. No, the only way you’ll be able to run less than 10lbs is to ditch the internal gate and go with an external wastegate setup.
