thats terrible. it pains me to see such a good car go to waste… and the audacity to drive it like they own it…
my thoughts… the dashboard may have been changed… also check the firewall to see if the VIN was scrubbed. i can’t tell but it looks like it may have been scrubbed… im suprised the cops arent investigating this further given the circumstances.
Yea, I thought that to… It could possibly be the thieves actual car, He wrecked it. Saw yours, Stole it… Swapped the vin numbers/scrubbed off the harder to remove numbers and abandoned his keeping yours.
Nah, it’s my car…I saw the repair I did for the dreaded passenger side leak under the dash under the windshield cowling…a$$holes…

So what happened after all this?
I think the thread shows the pics of the car at a Richmond salvage yard. Cops contacted me like a year later and they found it.
whomever stole it used it as their own until they trashed the car.and.dumped it.
Very sad since this was a one of a kind cherry GS-R owned by a little old lady who hardly used it but kept it in great condition.
