Stopped making boost?

I was driving today and i heard a “puff” sound like some sort of rubber poof.
I thought it was a coupler, or something. Now i cant make any boost. my gauge will show me maybe 2lbs of boost but wont go any higher, i also hear a weird sound coming from my drivers side. I thought maybe my wastegate was stuck open or something. anyone got any ideas?

I checked my couplers and everything seems fine. Also i got out of my car and the engine was massively hot but temp gauge shows fine. It just feels and smells hotter than normal.

Oh sweet, i found out what it was. the fins on my compressor side are shredded. turbo is toasted.

Was using a filter and it was a Turbonetics. I knew i shoulda rebuilt it but i was all pumped to turbo the DA lol. its my own fault i guess. it didnt have shaft play that i noticed but, i know see it does after the explosion.
