I was looking around on ebay and I found this. Will this work and if so what psi is it comparable to. Also just wondering what you guys think about this little item.

That thing is an Attwood blower used for engine room ventilation on boats. They sell for less than $30 in marine stores and do not provide enough air flow to make any difference on your car accept that they do draw quite a bit of power. I’ve seen these cheap supercharger kits being sold for as much as $180, and the fact that they don’t work has been covered on many boards before. Some guy posted some dyno results on another board of that eee ramm on a sohc 1.6 honda, and it ran about the same with and without it. Below 3k there was slightly more power, and at high RPM there was slightly less power, if I remember correctly. I’m talking like REAL slight differences, like you would get even if you ran back to back with NO changes at all.

TAD Ghostal: Just to answer your questions, i dont’ think super chargers are worth it on our cars. A member a few months or so back did a custom install of a vortech supercharger on his car. All his hard work and custom building didnt’ show that much of a significant change in Hp or torque. All and all he said it wasnt’ worth it to try to get a supercharger in the cramped engine bay of a teg
id like to know why his sig is incorrect…other companies have been doing this for years. VTEC is a good concept but by all means is not a GOD sent gift to engines. I wonder if the true enthusiasts of honda building that truly like variable timing and the technology. Or does the marketing team at honda that has convinced so many blind people such as you, like it more?
