I am planning to turbo my b18a (stock internal), just wanted to know the 1/4 mile times of guys runnung LS TRANS and upgraded clutch, how much WHP and boost would be appreciated also thank you…
this has been covered and your question is way too vague. what is your set-up going to be so maybe someone can give you an estimated value of what you’ll be looking at.
the WHP and 1/4 time is based on the Kit, the tune and the driver.
IF THIS has been covered i could not find it (1/4 mile times)that is, also my set up would consist of the minimum upgrades for a turbo mod, t3/t4 # Turbo kit Efficient to 450hp,only planning on making 300whp

AS I SAID BEFORE…, my question wasn’t about this setup specifically, i just wanted to know what’s the 1/4 mile times guys were running keeping the stock ls transmission(upgraded clutch flywheel) in their b18a turbo, just so i can make a decision whether or not to upgrade to a GSR Trans. hope this will help with my question thanks…
12.0-13.5 sec 1/4 as an estimate. quite a difference but it depends on the driver and climate.

I couldn’t imagine breaking into the 13’s on that type of setup… but it’s all aout tuning… the stock LS trans has some really long gears so you may see a bit of lag (depending on turbo) smaller turbo wiill be less efficient on the top end but will spool faster… I plan on running a .57 intake and .63 exhaust side, hoping for about 230 hp. i don’t expect to be any faster than 13.9 (I’m also on a b17 trans with LSD)
i have .48 a/r 57 trim turbo. i run 13.9 with such a shitty launch. 2.4 60’ with a trap of 112 mph.
completely stock LS motor, stock LS transmission. STOCK!

230 whp should be much faster than 13.9. I’d say more like mid to low 13’s. G2’s are heavy but not incredibly. There are many all motor hondas with 230hp running low 13’s.
My buddy was running 14.0’s on a very stock turbo D series in a ej8 with a very bad 60 foot, and he only put 210 to the wheels.
Hey polska, did you gut your car at all and how much psi where you boosting when you did your 13.9, because my future turbo build is also on a 4 door teg. Any body else out there with a turbo 4dr teg, remember {stock ls trans}. thank you…
car is not gutted at all. im boosting 12.5 psi
the car is alot faster than 13.9. just need some slicks and a better launch.
