Is it worth all of the trouble of splicing and making water lines???
If so… should I do it from the TB or the heater?

for a straight t3?
you’re nowhere near the boost levels necessary for water cooling, unless for some reason you absolutely have NO way of using an air-to-air intercooler.

The cooler the better. If you want to take the time and put together a beautiful turbo setup, water cooled, and oil cooled, you’ll be happy with the peace of mind.
Yep just disconnect the throttle body coolant line and run that to your turbo… Thats what I do water and oil cooled turbo no problems so far. And making more power then most to.![]()
You mean to say “wet housing” right?
Yes. Since you can order a T3 or T3/T4 hybrid with or without wethousing for the same price get the wet housing. This will allow the bearing housing to run cooler and prolong the life of the charger. This is also the reason why all cars come from factory with these on already. A turbo timer will endup eating more gas and isn’t a good theft deterrent thats the reason why a factory turbo car doesn’t come with it .
I would still run a turbo timer as well. You just won’t need to keep it running as long.

you only ran one line to the tb or did you splice and tee both coolant lines into the tb line
