Am i gonna have clearance problems using a hks manifold and a td04 with a internal WG. The hks manifold is made for a t25 so im gonna need an adaptor plate to convert t25 to tdo4

what t25 is it made for? the t25 found on 2nd gen DSMs has the same flange has the 14b. btw… a td04 is just the compressor housing, doesnt designate a turbo.
But anyways… if its made for a t25 for a DSM then it’ll fit the turbo you’re going to try to run. However, if its made for an HKS t25 or Nissan t25, it WILL be different and you will need an adapter plate. It should clear, there are others running turbos with adapter plates and no clearence issues.

I’m almost positive the T-25 is for the garett, not the mitsu
mitsu used the t25… just because its a garret turbo doesnt mean a car company cant use it. saab, nissan, mitsu, etc. all use garret turbos.
No, his HKS manifold is not for the mitsu bolt pattern. If its the manifold that I’m thinking of, everytime I see it the phrase “for Garett T-25” follows. is this something like the bolt pattern?

Yes but the mitsu TEO4H has a bolt pattern like I made above, just like the pattern on rubens3 HKS manifold. If I were him I’d personally skip the whole adapter plate and either get a new turbo or manifold, thats just me.
I prolly should of specified earlier it wouldn’t fit the mitsu square flange, mitsu built the TEO4H for chrysler cars.

yeah I know hes got the TD, I’m just saying’ that the TE should fit, therfore eliminating the need of an adapter plate. Hes got many options but I was just stating that using a TE could be one of them that doesn’t involve the plate. I’d like to know what Rubens3 plans on doing?
I got a quote for a custom manifold to fit a DSM patern 14B for less than $300. Why would you mess with adapter plates at that price???
