teg cruzr's intro and interior swap

Hello everybody in G2 land. I’ve been on the site for a while now so I guess it’s time to share.
My name is Shane and I’ve owned my teg for almost ten years. This site has answered every
question I’ve ever had about my car. I’ve also met some of the coolest gear heads at local
meets. Well enough chit chat how about some pic’s?

She’s a 91 LS

Bleached out tail lights and rear wiper delete. Thanks teg tips.

A low mile swapped stock b18a.

Never did like the ivory. Stained carpet f%$#ing cowl leak, that’s all better now.

Cleaning carpet for a dye job.

the powder dye didn’t quite do the job.

A couple rattle cans of paint/dye looks good.
All the other pieces I need.

Owning a SUV comes in handy

If your doing your headliner, do it halfs makes it little easier.

Not bad if I say so.

Door panels, check.

More to come.

Setting up to paint parts.

Well since I got everything else apart why not paint some needles

Gotta build an amp rack

What interior would complete without one of these?

Now the fun part, putting all back together

I didn’t want to cut my new carpet so a little wire showing. I gotta finsh the front panel

A new steering wheel and that about does it for the inside.
Hope everyone enjoys.

dang that looks good, if i didnt like the brown interior in my car id mos def do this to mine

Brown? Is your ride honey beige on the outside?

props, you do damn clean good work. so did you swap the engine yourself or did it come with a low mile swap?

hell yea it is

WOW!!! lucky you… I want to do the same interior swap to mine… tan color is a pain in the asss

very nice job!!

Hey thanks for all the kind replys guys. bobahunk take good care of that ride, honey beige is hard to come by and it kinda looks like my DD.

Nick I had the swap done by a shop in Auburn. I was pricing motors and for them to do it didn’t cost much more and they did a warranty. FTW.

disturbed83 yeah I love the new look. Are DA’s few and for in between in Costa Rica? I asked about your skirts a couple days ago, thanks again
for posting pic’s. I just got mine done.
tacvbo thanks man.

looking good bro.

Well… you can see DA’s but they are all fucked up!.. bad paint, crashed , rice. etc…

We are only 5 guys that have nice looking JDM wannabe DA’s…

But its hard to find a complete black interior here, because most of them are grey, tan, tan with black… or the interiors are in really REALLY BAD CONDITION

Thanks James.
disturbed: That’s lame, well I guess maybe if you just picked and pieced you could do in a couple of years or so.

yeah I guess… I can paint parts and take the seats to a place and upholster (thats how you say it?) them or ask a friend that import parts to please go to a yunk yard and try to find a black interior…

nice bro hope to see it when i get back state side

disturbed: Sounds about right. LOL. That’s sounds expensive though.

Stevo the man. How’s Korea man? Looks like uncle sam is keeping you busy over there, rebuilding tanks and what not. For sure on meeting up. Is the DB getting painted or you just stock piling boost parts.
Hope the wife and kids are well. It’s gotta be hard with you half way across the planet.

How much fabric did you need for the headliner?

That turned out really good. Makes the car alot more nicer to drive with a nice clean interior

Well I got enough fabric for the headliner, door panels and some left over for my amp rack.
the roll is almost 5ft wide and I had them peel off like 6ft so about 30 square feet total. It wasn’t very cheap but well worth it.
hb420: It’s like driving a new car, well after the paint and glue stink finally went away.
I’ll tell ya the carpet and vinyl dye/paint that shit has a bad chemical ordor for days.

Once again guys thanks for all the kind replies. If I hadn’t found this site I proably would have
sold the old girl a couple years ago, It’s all you guys out there showing me just how cool
these cars can be.
