Teggykid Running Log *New Wheels*

Wow man I really appreciate it. I’ll definitely pay shipping if you’re willing to do that

So the guy I was trying to buy a shift linkage from flaked (no offense meant) so I looked up what I needed on oemacuraparts.com. Turns out I could get the other half of the linkage since I already have the top bar and some various bolts/washers to mount that and the new one. So today’s a good day. Just need the starter now and I’m home free! Can’t wait!

If you plan on getting a new linkage from honda/acura then get a 94& dc gsr one, as it is much much better and will last longer to due better design and stiffer bars… Also I will try to have that pic posted for you by no later than tmrrw . Am not going to b.s you around like some people do but am sure I have the one you need , and I’m not going to charge you for it cause I don’t need it.[QUOTE=teggykid952;2229770]So the guy I was trying to buy a shift linkage from flaked (no offense meant) so I looked up what I needed on oemacuraparts.com. Ha oops I already ordered it. It’s alright though. It was only $50 so maybe down the road I’ll get the other if this one wears out. And thanks man I really do appreciate it.

So, last night before I went to sleep, I found out on G2IC that the starter is the same on both autos and manuals, which I did not know. For some reason I thought they were different? Anyways, that’s installed. So all I’m waiting for now is the clutch cable bracket, other half of linkage, and my various bolts/washers to come in and I’ll be able to put it all together and run it! Really excited to get it done. Just got other little things like covering the extra holes inside the car and connecting the reverse/clutch engaged wires

You can cancel the order if you want to save a few bucks and i’ll send it ti you tmrw and you can e’mail me your no# and info if you’d like. just trying to help you out.

Eh I’m really not too worried about it. It’s a brand new linkage so it should last plenty long. And I’ll PM you my info

I’m assuming it uses those two 10mm (I believe) in the middle of the top of the tranny. But yeah that’s looks to be what I need. I emailed you my info. Just lmk what you need for shipping and I’ll be happy to pay it

Yep that’s the one. And that’s the one you will be getting. 0k with you?[QUOTE=teggykid952;2230044]I’m assuming it uses those two 10mm (I believe) in the middle of the top of the tranny. Alright then. I’ll be sending it to you in the next few days . To the address you send me on my e’mail.

Yeah that’ll work. Just lmk how much I owe you for shipping

Got the boots on my tie rods and everything back together suspension wise. Just gotta wait on my parts to come in. Hopefully I’ll have this thing on the road in a week or two

Got my parts in for the linkage. All that’s done. Just waiting on the flywheel/clutch cover and the clutch cable bracket and the car will be on the road! Hopefully by the latest Wednesday

Already sent the package to your fowarding address , You should get that clutch cable bracket by monday . But no later than wed. Can’t wait to hear when your get your car back on the road again. I know it must be frustrating .

No, what frustrating is is that yesterday I got everything put together, car on the ground, just waiting for the bracket. Then, I pull up on the “arm” for the clutch and it comes all the way up easily. So something is not right and I’m not to happy about it. I’m trying to find out what’s wrong before I pull the whole tranny out again. And ideas? I was thinking the bolt that attaches the “arm” the the one inside that the throwout bearing is attached to. But if that were the case, then I’d be able to pull the arm out seeing as that’s the only thing that holds it there. I’m just really stumped as to what is wrong…

its supposed to do that. thats normall mine does it also, so don’t worry,

Are you sure? I figured it should be a lot harder to pull. I mean I could do it with one finger its so easy. I figured once I got the bracket and actually used my foot I would probably be able to tell

yeah, because all you are doing is pulling it up right ? it should go up about 3-4 inches it seem long though, but that’s ok because you don’t have the cable installed yet.
