Teggykid Running Log *New Wheels*

x2 ^^

Well I know the fronts are $250 and the rears are $150 I believe. I think you can buy a package deal for like $375. I know the top of the upper ball joint on those fronts have the logo on them. I’d chevk and make sure you have what you need. Skunk2 camber kits should be plenty adjustable

Alrighty well finally got around to painting my moldings  Primed, sanded, re-primed, sanded some more, then painted by the father since he knows what he’s doing. Used some of the leftover paint from when the car itself was painted.

Oh and a couple randoms my dad took

Sitting purty man. That looks sweet!

Muchas gracias

I miss my Del Sol wheels and my paint looking that fresh :frowning: Now I’m depressed again lol Looking good as usual.

You miss them? I hate these wheels haha. The only reason I have them on is because the tires on my Drags are worn/defective and one of my wheels is cracked haha.

Got the moldings on today. Paint turned out really nice  and the teg looks much cleaner now. Also started fixing my reverse problem ^^

Drilled it out and we are going to get a threaded plug for it tomorrow

Well I fixed this a couple days ago, but I’m just now getting around to posting. Drilled it out, broke all the aluminum that was in the way, then bought a drain plug the same size, cut it short, and threw some locktite on it and force-threaded it in the hole. Also here are some pics from the local Montgomery meet last night.

And the meet:

Maaaad clean. Nice seeing beat up DB’s turn into something nice.

nice

Nice teggy man from the new DA on the forum

Thanks for the love guys

im liking what i be seeing…lol. wish my db was as fresh as yours lol.

New intermediate shaft coming in. Just got a job at Home Depot so I’m about to start having some cash flowing in within the next couple weeks. Plans for near future:

  • Energy Suspension trailing arm bushings
  • Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex bushing kit
  • OBD1 conversion (priority)
  • Camber kits front and rear
  • Thinking about trying out some Megan Racing sleeve coilovers and reusing my KYB’s

id advise to get some better shocks, if your gonna slam it anyway
sweet db btw the color is sex butter kittens.

I probably won’t. Once I blow I’ll step up to the GC/Koni set up for the lifetime warranty

Ha,ha Geo has the hood up. lol. Them side-skirts are looking good Kev, so what did you fix exactly cause I’m not so sure why you did the whole drilling thing and bolt thing. Did your reverse gear go out or something I’m not so sure I remember it’s been a while for me. And Damn your car has come a long way man, and that’s something to be proud of. But yeah I’m curious about your tranny problem.

Ok behind the bolt there is a shift rod. When I got the trans, the metal (where the bolt it now) was dented in. Well, when you put the car in reverse, the rod comes all the way out. So when I put it in reverse, the rod hit the metal that was in the way and broke it, leaving a hole. I went to a welding shop and had it patched, but when I reinstalled I couldn’t get it into reverse. The dumb*ss didn’t take the time to do it properly. He said, and I quote, “I probably should have used a small piece of pipe and then welded a cap on that so it wouldn’t have stopped it”. Idiot. Anyways, I rocked no reverse for a while, but when the meet the past Saturday was coming up, I knew I was going to need reverse. So I grabbed a drill bit, drilled it out, then used a rather large pick tool to break any other metal in the way of the rod. Then I went to Lowes, got a drain plug that matched the size of the drill bit, threw some Lock-Tite on it, and force threaded it into the soft aluminum. And now, I have reverse! Little nigga rigged but it works

Got my old wheels and tires out of storage yesterday and put them on today. Basically new tires up front and semi used tires in the back. Better than those cheap ass Riken tires I was riding on. Car pulls to the right now. I really need to get my Hyper-Flex kit in along with the RTA bushings so I can get the damn thing realigned. Also got a new sticker
