Well… I will be going to the track tonight for the first time in my 1991 Integra RS. I am HOPING to run at least a 16.0. The car is all stock except muffler delete and removed intake resonator. Stock air box and filter though. Car has had a recent tune-up and oil change and is running pretty good. Car is a 5 Speed and is also full weight. I Might take out the spare tire before I go, but otherwise full interior.
Do you think a 16.0 is a realistic time for this model Integra? I will be pissed if I go there and pull like a 16.5…LOL. I am ACTUALLY hoping to crack 15’s with only cut-off muffler…Haha. I’m sure it can be done. All I know is that on the street so far I have wooped up on a couple of Civic EX’s with intake and exhaust. I’m talkin like 3 cars at least on them…Haha. And they should go mid to low 16’s.

I have to say that we were all MORE than a little stunned. The car was at Full Weight(spare and all), half a tank of gas and All Stock except for removed muffler and removed intake resonator. There is still room for improvement as she sits, But I need better tires and clutch for that to happen. I was trying to get a 2.1 60’ and crack out a 15.3… but it didn’t happen.

Yeah, whatever buddy. I have not seen a Minivan go 15.4’s yet. Actually… never seen one at the track. I think it is a good time for basically stock. But whatever… always has to be a smartass :stare:
You DO realize that .6 in the 1/4 mile is a fairly Large margin of victory right? I don’t know why you are hatin on me anyway. Just trying to post up a damn 1/4 mile time which I thought was good for having 156,000 on it and no “Real” mods.
I don’t really consider a cut-off muffler a real mod. Also… there was No weight reduction, and power steering and A/C in tact and working still. I don’t think it’s a bad time By Far. I mean… what the hell do you expect from a stock 91 RS? I was shocked. I was hoping for 16.0’s!
With a header, catback and CAI… I WILL hit 14’s with full interior and all accessories.
Thanks man. I was shocked. I was really only looking for 16.0’s…LOL. PPl were comig up to my car in the staging lanes when my hood was up cooling down in between runs and couldn’t beleive it was stock. There were a Couple 2G Tegs there. This was at Atco raceway in NJ. There was another white 2G there with 99-00 SI rims on it and the g2ic.com sticker on his window. I watched him run once but his damn time didn’t show up on the board. I never got a chance to talk to him either.
damn that might have been my buddy i know from nj, but i dnt know if hes got si rims or not. and ya i would come up to u 2 and be like wat are u runnin cuz that is fast for a stok g2
The motor has 156,000 on it. I don’t know how old the clutch is but it was starting to slip by the end of the night(too Hot). Full weight(including spare), and all accessories still in tact and woking(Power steering & A/C). I don’t know… I can’t explain it nor can any of the Ppl that were there…Haha.
I mean I’m not gonna complain . Couple of my friends were like yo… take out the spare and back seats and go for the 15.0 with a 2.1 60’. I was gonna, but i wanted to see how it would run just the way i drive it on the street. So I guess it wasn’t a fluke that I pulled on like 2 Civic EX’s HARD and they had intake and exhuast. I had them by like 4 cars at least…LOL. I just can’t wait to get new tires and a clutch. Those 2 things were holding me back last night from pulling a 15.2-15.3.
I Also have a question. What gear are you guys in when you finish the 1/4 mile? I was in 4th for like 3 seconds at least. My gears seem to go faster than a normal LS tranny? I know the tranny was replaced B4 I bought it. Still has the junkyard #'s on it. Possibly not an LS tranny? Maybe a GSR tranny? Only thing I can think of why such fast times :worry:
Well… here is the Video of my 15.5 Run they got. I’m mad he didn’t get one of my 15.4 runs. This was the last run of the night and you can hear my clutch slipping every gear…Haha.
