No, I don’t work for Honda. Heh. Wish I did, lemme tell you.

just read through all the pages but i thought i’d add my car weighs 2789 w/o me and i dynoed at 142 on a ls and ran a 15.14 on concorde tires at 20psi 60ft 2.16 trap was 89 mph. when i had a ebay intake and catback, just lowered i ran a 15.9 with a 2.29 60ft. with i/h/e i owned stock si’s even modded si’s from light to light , although i belive their cars were faster i think if you can’t drive your car then what good is it to you and vtec cars in general are just trickier to launch. on the streets or even eight mile i would rather be in a non vtec car. i have never seen the ass end of a si off a light st. or track but i have been run down in a good few. with 4 cyl cars i believe that races are won at the starting line. these threads always remind me of the vw 8v 16v battles. i think the ls is a more user freindly eng. but with a good driver and the same mods si’s got the adv.

Its clear to see your good times come from your 60fts, not your hp. Props to you for being able to launch real well. My 15.1 was run with a lovely 2.38 60 ft. If I would have landed a 2.16 that would put me around 14.7 or so.

no doubt its all in the launch i forgot to say the 15.9 run when i was almost stock is actually the vid in my sig. with the falkens i just put on and my mounts i hope to maybe pull high 1.9 60fts my buddy’s g3 ls can do it and i beat him so hopefully i’ll dip in the 14’s.
