Here is a pic of my color matched red housing headlights, using LL’s paiting method, I just used Red instead of black, thanks LL, I will post more pics later.

Can’t wait to see those installed. This mod looks so much better when it is on the car. I wasn’t sure about the black housing mod until I saw it on the car, please let us know when you get some pics of it during the day. Has anyone started asking you if they are actually Typer R lights? :whoa: :drool: :drool: :drool:

I’m not with LL all the time, but they definitely do not look like Type-R lights. LL had to follow me one day, and everytime I look in the rearview to check on him, I would be blinded by those yellow foglights 
For me, the modification is very subtle - even though it’s black on a white car. The glare guards removed showing the yellow hue on the fogs always catches my eye first

Well, I can tell that they don’t look like the JDM G3 headlights, but i was wondering if to the untrained eye they would, but probably isn’t close enough. Still look nice. Is there a way to make the appearance of the Type R lens (you know that circle lens part)??? Gotta be a way to do this and keep the funcionality.
I also read somewhere that the Chrome housing for G3 one piece are more rare than black housing (is that true).

Well, what you could do is paint part of the reflector to make it look like it’s a circle. The lens is not clear anyway, so no one could probably tell right off-the-bat. But this might reduce light ouput since the bulb needs the reflector to help it light the road properly.

P.S. You can remove the reflectors if you like and maybe shoe-horn a circular reflector in its place.

LL Cool B- any more pics of your ride? I don’t just want to see your 1 pieces, I heard you have some sidemarkers. I wanted to see how those look and see how your 1 pieces look durring the day.

I"m tired of all the emails about posting pix of them one pieces… it’s nothing special…
i know… i just wanna see how theyll look.
i saw this guy actually just use black electrical tape on the top edges of the fog… looked pretty decent. harder to do on the one pieces tho
guess what, it’s started to snow a lot last night. If it doesn’t melt by itself they’ll start spraying the roads with salt which means that the teg won’t see the sun for 5 months. If that’s the case I won’t be able to take daily shots.
I’ll see if there is enought light in the garage during the day. If not then… sorry 
well i just opened up a light and man its not hard but it is time consuming i figured out an easy way to do it but it leaves marks in the grey plastic but hey I DID IT YAY!!!

ya i got mine on my teg, they look real nice especially with my carbon fiber hood and my black slipstreams, it makes my car look mean!!. So Cal members can check it out on the Jan 5th meet i’m very proud of my car.:crazy: 
Hey, I have a black G2, Deezys look pretty cool. I got tinted windows too, so it would look good. Please let me know what U guys think bout the black housing/black G2, cuz Im gonna probably clean up the one pieces this weekend, and I might do it all on the same day!
