Was wondering when you’d finally make a build thread. Looks good, man. Can’t wait to see this thing with color matched moldings and some 1pcs. May I also recommend the JDM thin side moldings. They’d compliment the look of the car.

you have the techno-r side skirts? it looks great, please keep the molding black!! do not color match and ruin it. i think you car looks amazing with the OEM 3pc light. but again its your car,and i am just voicing my opinion.

Many thanks fellas. I appreciate everyones input. I have mixed feelings on the black moldings, I want to paint it, but my wife even tells me to leave it as is. As for the lights, I am in no rush for 1 pieces, but I still want them lol. The engine bay is in need of some attention, I dont have anymore shots until I get it all situated. My fan switch is not working, I replaced it and still no dice. I also have to re-route the battery to the rear and tuck some more wires. That’s all next on my agenda. I’ll update once completed.

Stopped some car thieves a few nights ago. My very sensitive two way pager alarm notified me, I then saw 2 guys running from my car. This was at 4am. My door was wide open with no signs of damage. They only took my lip wing. I actually chased them in my wife’s car. Unfortunatley the Accord they were driving was also stolen. I lost them when they made a crazy/dangerous right turn into an alley. I skidded past and couldn’t reverse in time to catch them. Next up on the agenda, rear door handles and pop locks. They would not have been able to start my car, but I don’t like how vulnerable these key holes are…
Sorry to hear about damn thieves, next time (hope not) but if happens again you should get a shotgun and shoot them bastards just make sure that they are facing you so that you don’t go to jail for them turning away from you but even then you still might so never mind that lol. Back to subject I do Love the build and so much for a 200 dollar beater hugh now you can shut everyone up and show em your brand new ride and see what they say then. It’s always good to be the underdog and to show people up when they doupt you and to see their face expressions is price less, now that is progress my friend.
Thanks for that tidbit of info, but I decided to just run with an accord front lip, EK side skirt (thanks for the awesome info on those!!!) and going to mod and attache an accord rear lip setup to my DA.
I decided I’d rather stay sorta low profile rather than turn my DA into something every tweaker wants to steal.
Sucks that anyone who knows these cars at all can get into them regardless. Damn frame-less windows, love em and hate em at the same time. I have always wanted to make some kind of custom plate to go into the door so the rods can’t be messed with.
It would be awesome to catch them in the act, but steal their car while they are occupied with yours. Then run them over with it. haha. j/k.
What a week…
I felt something odd when I shifted, followed by a sound of metal under the car, and a trail of oil that would make BP proud. Why what is this?
