I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance… by not paying it.
Seen a bald eagle today on my way home, never thought we had them around Carson. Tried taking pics but it wouldn’t stay still for me,but seeing one in person is a feeling you just can’t explain.
This things wingspan was about as long as my bed,its was a sight i would never forget.
On another note, its snowing like hell outside,i took a video of the blizzard we’re having and will post that up as soon as i take a shit.

5: ) << my new favorite smiley
I was able to sleep in but ended up going to maryland for an install and didn’t get home until 6 am lol.
and you didn’t ask if Ferret wanted to buy you a beer…
:tsk:
got some wheel time in Zhenya again today, felt good.
gotta do rear brake pads, and now that I’ve located my bolt-outs, get the rounded nut off the a/c tensioner, get it replaced, and get the new a/c belt on.
that can likely wait till next weekend; too much on my plate this week.
I DID find some Stillen headers being sold for WAY less than they should be, so I snagged those up real quick. Not exactly looking forward to the install (dear god does it suck), but hey…80% off new pricing for something with 2k miles ain’t a bad deal.
today my boss asked if I would rather drive to Indiana instead of flying…
I respectfully declined.

didn’t you post the car for sale on FB? why wouldn’t it start?
Starter died on base.
Asked about a dozen different army jackasses for a push, some chuckled, others didn’t even make eye contact, but nobody would take six fucking seconds to help.
I was a little pissed, took my frustrations out on an interwebs post.
Finally found a few AF folks willing to not only give me a ride to it, but also give me a shove to get the clutch popped and get it home. Pulled the starter that day, then let it sit overnight (was getting REALLY dark by the time I got home) and finished the replacement in the morning. bout $140 for a new starter, lifetime warranty. the ex-army guy at autozone redeemed my impression of the army after those jackasses gave it a good healthy tarnish.
Why, you wanna buy it? :giggle:
I hella <3 Oakland.
The East Bay is fucking awesome! Beer, art, women, food; all on point.

nope. I wouldn’t own another rear wheel drive car unless 1) I lived in a state with a near 0 inch annual snowfall and was NOT essential staff at my job 2) I lived in a state where it snowed less than NJ and I could insure 2 cars , the rwd and a fwd , awd , or 4wd, for LESS than what I am paying now to insure 1 20 year old fwd, 3) lived in NYC , telecommuted, and had the car parked in a climate controlled indoor garage.
