my friend he said it didnt go in reverse when you swap the wires…well i took it home and it does …i dont know what he did but it works fine…

on a side not this is my new daily driver… a 92 honda prelude si i got it real cheap because it didnt run but it came with two other extra engines so hopefully one of them work…
i ended up getting a prelude si with a blown h23 block but i got a f22 accord vtec sohc engine with it and another h23 engine so i mad out like a bandit…ihere is a pic

finally got the prelude running and also have the teg running again go the slim fan installed all the ugly ground wires are gone and replace with ones made of purple stereo wire…i will get pictures eventually when i repaint my valve cover because it kinda got all scratched up after pulling the engine to get a seal replaced…oh well i will post pics when its done…been driving it for 3 days now and got about 140 miles on it… so far so good…im pretty happy with it so far
im helping a buddy do a similar swap but into a 2nd gen lude. that thing is going to be a beast!

so i ran into a problem with the engine… it started to over heat and tried everything except the headgasket…ended up being the headgasket…went to pull the head and realized the #10 bolt in the tightening sequence was super loose i was like that has to be the problem…no threads came up with the head bolt…but when i took the head off i could see the threads in the block not attached to the block anymore anyways long story short i was going to helicoil the block but couldnt because of the dowel pin goes there…and found out why it stripped…because i had b16 headbolts in…note to all you guys doing hybrid engine MAKE SURE TO USE THE HEADBOLTS FOR THE APPROPRIATE BLOCK!.. cant stress that enough… the b16 ones are like a 1/2" shorter than the gsr/type r ones… anyways there was enough thread still in there that i was able to clean the threads back up and use the b18c headbolts…its up and running again thank god!!! sorry for the long rant…

hey would you happen to know the part number of the purple bolts you got in your engine bay?
What process did you take to paint the tranny. Did you just have to hot tank it and did you use the same aluma blast on the block also looks really good.

newest part i got for the teg jg header made by edelbrock…sorry i havent updated at all in a while but ive just been enjoying driving it before i get it painted and set it back up on jack stands again for another winter
