Great quality build! Those r great numbers, even with a bad headbgasket lol. I’d love to see what numbers it puts down when everything is working properly.
It’s crazy u have what most people seek, fender bras, but not the hood bra. They look clean tho! Much easier to find a hood bra then fender pieces
Thanks! Found out it wasnt bad head gasket at all… Turns out i have bent valves… So after installing a brand new oem head gasket just to find out thag the oil was leaking from the cam seals on the drivers side and the no compression is because my valves are bent probably the whole intake side… Fml… So i might just sell my toda cams and install my b16a cams so i dont have this issue again!!! Anyone interested in buying some b series toda spec b cams? Also the come with BDL cam gears $850 they are $1300 cams btw
I cant get enough of this build, just had to start from page one and breeze threw to your last post. That sucks man. was it because of the lift or the timing that bent the valve?
The head has been milled more than once so that and the huge toda cams with ctr pistons really did a number on the valves so im just gonna sell them and get the head redone and slap the b16 ones i got lying around in and drive it… Im tired of seeing it on jack stands all the time
dang brother i have been following your thread since day one has come a long way
Blackack turns out it wasnt the head either lol or bent valves… Rings are fried so back to pulling the motor and re ringing and honing time! Im done till spring! Sold the itbs and went back to a itr intake mani and throttle body
Thanks steezy and gravix!
Hey dude how’s this coming along?
Damn I love those M7’s with the lip they have. Which is odd considering I’m not usually a fan of them. Glad you decided not to part it out.
Love this build, keep it up. The white with those wheels just looks great. Nice work on the bay as well…should have kept the ITB’s!
Sorry to hear about the motor troubles. Hope you get the pistons/block sorted out?
these r the only wheels i have now! had to sell the m7’s to pay for rent and bills over the winter due to not having a job!
oh well i traded my aem wideband and the beaks tie bar brace for it which isnt too bad
You kept the black moldings =]
Looks clean!
thanks
nice clean build, i was looking forward too seeing the m7’s on it. but u gotta do what u gotta do!
Build is nice. I’m going to use your pictures as a rough guide when I start welding my bay up. It’s about empty now
