They said it couldn't be done. Ha!

Everyone says that you can’t put a Jackson Racing Supercharger on a B18, or you have to cut into the firewall or relocate the master cylinder to make it fit. Well Ogle and I came across something to sway the general consensus a little.

1991 Acura Integra- B18A1

It’s badass because he did it, but it didn’t seem to boost that well. He was only getting about 4lbs of boost but he has only had it in for a couple weeks. Give him some time and that thing will kick ass. I raced him at SRP and he only beat me by a car and a 1/2. The only thing not stock on my motor is the S1 tranny and a Stage II clutch.

Well there it is comment away.

wow. not to be a whore with ben’s name, but that’s a nice car to ogle. :stuck_out_tongue:

well spank me on the bottom with my Woman’s Weekly

smack

wow that’s tight squeeze. dope. now just clean yer engine bay to match that bling.

Anythings possible if you put your mind into it

not to whore, but you guys going to the lilac drag fest. this weekend?

What is that? Is it in Spokane?

Weird, eh? Too bad it was dark. I wouldve liked to look at it a little more (like his “rear mount”).

Ben

I’m not.

Ben

I love that he took the time and $$$ to put on a JRSC, however, neglected to upgrade his Header and Exhaust :bang:

I thought there was another supercharged that passed through g2ic a few years ago as well. They noted that the only way they got it to fit was they had to re-mount the engine so many degrees so that it would fit back there. I think he just cur and welded his motor mounts. It’s been soo long since that post I forgot the guys name. Nor can I find his post.

why do all of that complicated work for a supercharger when you can be much better off with a turbocharger with GREAT SPOOL and less headaches… no idea…but i suppose props to whoever dealt with that mess. 4psi on a supercharger though? hmm… i bet a good n/a setup would hand it to him

I can’t see enough detail in the pics to comment. I’d like to see how he got things to fit.

For all I know maybe he cut off the part of the MC that is in the way and only has front brakes

 ya no one said it was impossible, just that it is a huge pain and not worth the effort.

tell us, was it worth it?

should have turboed it…get more power…but thats just my 2 cents… good job

got any more info?
where and why cut the fire wall. and how much of a clearance issue with the brake booster?
