Looking forward to seeing how it comes out!!!

This one is tough. Thereā€™s barely anything to attach to!

Iā€™m thinking about replacing that center screw that holds bulb holders on with a longer screw, but black, and with a washer (recessed into new cover), so it wonā€™t be as visible. That should be secure enough.

Protoype coming soon!

Iā€™ve always been trying to get a hold of those ā€œIntegraā€ third brake light inlaysā€¦. This wouldnā€™t happen to be the ā€œcoverā€ that youā€™re working on is it?

I was thinking about incorporating it, yes. Right now you can just use a sticker. If you want one I can include those in my next sticker order.

Hereā€™s the model of the replacement clear lens I made this morning. Iā€™ll try a print and see how it works.

Btw that is the new integra logo. Just thought Iā€™d try that because the vector was already available.

Oops forgot the A connection LOL

Will test fit soon.

The plastic has warped over the years. I tried it in two taillight housings: One fit, the other was too snug and the plate bowed. Iā€™ll have to shave 1mm off eveywhere on those tabs.

Good practice though. I can see how to model the bulb holders because those tend to break tooā€¦ as I found while test fitting this. Sigh.

I have the latest version installed that uses the OG font. Iā€™m going to ride with it for about a week to make sure it doesnā€™t fall out considering itā€™s a force fit.

If that goes well, Iā€™ll offer it as another ā€˜thank youā€™ gift for donations given to G2IC.

A transparent film the same or close to the color of the jdm 3rd brake light would be really cool if possible to use

Isnā€™t that kinda green? Itā€™s something I can do for sure. The sticker worked well but Iā€™ve noticed the heat over the years really degraded it. This looks more OEM too

Yeah itā€™s like a light green

I forget - does it light up red still even though non-lit part is green?

Lights up green

That might cause problems for us in the US I think.

Yeah that would depend on the state and if they have inspections or if the cops even care. In PA with car over 25 you can get classic or antique tags and you will be exempt from state emission and inspections

Ah I gotcha okay.

Iā€™ve been driving around with the white (draft) version. It looks warped from the rear. Itā€™s like some weird lensing effect is occurring. The ā€œRā€ looks huge and the I and A are squished. Pix to come when I get home.

It might be the positioning of the bulbs (perhaps it got misaligned). Iā€™m posting This just for fun though :stuck_out_tongue: Again, this is a WHITE version just for checking fitment (easy to mark up).
