To Boost, Or Not to boost

the question is… To Boost, Or Not to boost… Ofcourse most would say boost as I want some boost also. (:

But my Dilemma is to spend the money and go boost. or buy coilovers and drop it even more. Its got springs right now. Thats how I baught it. But since then I got Falken Azenis’s on there and since there tall it shot my ride height straight up. What do you guys think?

Ps… I would most likely go with a T25g setup off a Nissan?

Depends what you want more.

Is the motor a B18A? I think you will want a different turbo then a T25.

Good analogy.

There is a lot to be considered with a turbo set up. Keep that in mind.

That turbo is a good size turbo for the 1.8 since it came off of the ca18det its good for about 230 I think. its smaller then the SR t25 and really its only good for the street and tight course use I wouldnt use it for anything else.

And you really dont want a slammed FF on boost axle snap is what happends

BOOST FTMFW

if you want a perfect set up for not that much let me know…I can help choose what you would want/need:rockon:

axle break if lowered and boosted??? how low are we talking about…??? Mine is 16’s with low pros 205/45/16 and have a one finger gap from tire to fender…and I’m planning to go boost in about a month or two…

im running 300whp and i have zero finger gap. haven’t snapped an axle but i did have an issue the first time i hit the drags. launched like an idiot, destroyed my diff and my axle seemed to pop out. if its the axle that poped out which destroyed my diff, i dunno. went twice since then with new trans and new axles and no problems. preloading is your friend.

It really dosent matter if you are boosted or not. when your car is overly lowered it changes the line of the axle which will cause it to pop out or snap.

and yes when launching preloading the suspension is key.

is that when u have the handbrake on and then have the friction point of the clutch??? and bog the ass end down???
