turbo exaust??

i know a few of u guys are runing some pretty good hp#s/, and i was wondering what exaust you reccomend?

i plan on running open down pipe some of the time…but i want it a little more quiet on long trips.

any info will help…thanks!!!:stuck_out_tongue:

Thermal R&D turbo exhaust… In my mind its the only way to go on a turbo car for us… I don’t know of any other 3" cat backs made for our cars… Fully stainless, nice and queit, but still noticeable… You’ll get tired of running of the dump REAL quick. I mean, like up the block quick… Many people have custom 3" set ups done, but Thermal is the way to go in my book… Reasonably priced compared to some of the others out there… Good luck

I’m running a custom mandrel bent stainless 2.5" system with a MagnaFlow straight through muffler.

Check my thread in the General Discussion Forum God Bless the UPS guy Also, member redlineintegra can hook up a pretty good price for Thermal R&D’s, hit him up…

thanks, i appreciate it!!!

i checked general for that thread and didnt see it…maybe im just too tired and i will check later.

how many bends did u guys buy for ur custom exaust set up?

you are better off e-mailing Haberdasher seeing that he is the only active member in this thread. i highly doubt you will get answers from everyone else since they are inactive and the thread is 3 years old.

ya everyone just bitches when ppl start new threds haha so i brought this one from the dead

If you are perfect with all of your fabrication, you should be fine with 6 U-bends (and a section of straight of course). However, I would get 8-10 because you will most likely not be perfect.

I’d recommend looking into someone who has prebent piping with slip fit connections.

Kteller is the first that comes to mind for Hondas…but there are others out there.

2.5 Kteller piping and flex pipe w/ Magnaflow exhaust. I couldn’t be happier. It’s very quiet and I could probably get it to sound stock if I would have added a resonator. The exhaust shop told me they have never seen a prebent system that fit as perfect as the KTeller one.

thats for some helpful information
