Ok… new plan, how would a garrett gt2560r go in a b18b?

It’ll hold boost just fine. Just won’t have any crazy top end power. That turbo on the B18 will be a midrange car.
i don’t any experience with that turbo in particular but from what I have read, it is a bit small for our motors… I’m using a t3 .60/.63 and it pulls great all the way to redline.

in march/april ill let you know haha. ive got this turbo sitting in my room. waiting for spring to install everything. from what ive read though, should be a awesome turbo for the street with a pretty quick spool.
thats what i was told… im just worried it will spool up too quickly, i want a turbo that will hit full boost at about 2.5-3.5k rpm
2.5-3.5 is very quick. most turbo’s that ive been looking into for b18b’s hit full spool around 4.5k rpm. your spool will also be affected a lot by your manifold, and exhaust.
any suggestions about what turbo to get that will be suitable to daily / weekend driving
This may sound stupid, but i want a spool up time more or less similar to a my00 subaru wrx

How about the GT2871R? spools up quick but will keep powering all the way to redline.
I am pretty much set on gettin this particular turbo for my B18C.
