A guy has a turbo for sale that he says is a Greddy, but he doesnt have any info on it other than the AR .50 on the side. He says it has a T3/T4 flange and that it is brand new. the oil line hasnt even been tapped. Is there a way to identify the turbo without the paperwork? he is holding it for me so I need to know ASAP! Thanks for any help guys!
:gotpics: would help
greddy badges all thier newer turbos with a little blue tag on the top of the compressor wheel like this http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/attachments/engine-and-performance/147053-greddy-td04-turbo-charge-for-sell-03072008292.jpg. it will have all the info you need there. if it doesnt have the badge…
its an older one (with a compressor AR of .50 i doubt it, but…) and the info is all cast onto the back of the compressor wheel. get pics and ill prlly be able to tell you exactly what it is.
if you check it out make sure there is no shaft play, etc. it could be somewhat rebuilt so see it in person before you chunk the change
I bought it! Pics coming asap. it has the lil square where the tag was, but some jackass took the tag! It has AR50 intake and AR63 exhaust with a t3t4 flange. There is no other markings or cast numbers. No shaft play and it is brand new. I couldnt pass it up.
congrats, sounds like a custom hybrid with those attack ratios though i could be wrong, pics plz?
brand new? greddy? im thinking its a knock off from ebay
