i have a 1990 da9 with an A1 and a turbo setup at 7 psi with 450 injectors and i tuned with a safc and a wide band and every once and a while while im driving my car will throw a code for barometric pressure and a code for the map sensor and i cant figure out why any help would be appreciated
anyone
leaking vacuum line or loose pigtail in your map sensor maybe?
ill check the lines again but im pretty sure there is no in the vacuum i got little clamps on them
Are you running a missing link or one-way valve setup? If not, than you need to. If the ECU isn’t chipped and running a program that let’s it know that it’s okay to see positive pressure, you’re going to throw a code without something to hide boost from the MAP sensor.
i have a couple check valves in the line but its still doing it i think im just gonna buy a missing link
why dont you just get a new map sensor that can read boosts.
strike that, youll need an aftermarket ecu to read that
the stock map does read boost. only until about 12-13 psi. dont remember exactly. but if your ECU isnt chipped then it will code when it see’s boost.
ok i have the missing link no but i still have an issue
when i decelerate in gear my check engine light comes on and my car dies any help would be greatly appreciated
thats right, duh:)
good luck OP
