hey everyone, my friend has an extra turbo, manifold, and a wastegate that he go with his car and he wants to get rid of it, will that manifold fit onto my b18b? i kinda have doubts taht it will, i also am pretty sure i would need new piping also because i dont think it will fit.
the turbo, wastegate and intercooler will be fine but the piping and the manifold definitely won’t fit. You might be able to use some of the piping by the manifold will be useless. It’d probably be a good setup though once you got everything you needed. Do you know the specs on the starion turbo?
well since it is a stock turbo and from what it looked like to me it looked like a t3/t4 but i am not quite sure because i cant really tell the difference. my friend says it should put out just like his other stock turbo on that car right now has which is 8+ and adjustable on the turbo so you can bring it down

the t3\4 dosent come on stock cars. Its probally a 14b or t25. These are all you need for stock internals. Get 310cc injectors, afc, and fpr, as well as some tuning. No more then 9-10lbs though
Manifold will not fit. The turbo is a Mitsubishi TD05H. I am pretty sure that the turbo has a internal wastegate not external. Do a search on google for that turbo. The piping will definitely have to be changed.
the turbo is a td05-12a… how do i know i got 2 of em here in a box. you can use em for the teg. size wise the are smaller than 14b’s and t-25 but can be used for low boost like on hondas. they hold up to 15 psi with no prblems so 7-10 lbs won’t hurt em.
oh they shold have came with a wastegate on em they are set for 10lbs. if you don’t have on let me know i think i gotta extra one.
Well if we are digging up old post from back in the day, you can do like back in the day! Get a piece of 1/4" steel and cut custom flanges. Then order some misc. stainless steel tubing. If your buget allows for it get elbows, if not pie-cut are you friend! Start welding and have fun! If you think I am just being a smart A$$, I have done this. If you don’t have $$$ but you got time and a little skill, anything can be done! Repeat for down pipe! With the advent of Ebay and the rise of the $500 Ebay turbo kit, you can bypass all the hard work of this route and maybe save money in the long run!
