Hey guys. Any of you aware of problems with buying a turbo piping kit such as this one from ebay? I ask because as we all know, quality is an issue when buying “cheap” important turbo components off ebay, but this is just piping. Any prblems I should be aware of? Thanks!
I think is a good start.
why not just get some mandrels from kteller.com and some couplers from one of the sponsors of either here or honda-tech? save a couple of bucks and do it yourself and make sure it fits perfect…
Those pipes look really really cheap, also those pipes are aluminum so if they dont fit perfect you wont be able to weld them easily youll have to get more aluminum piping because you cant weld steel to aluminum. also those couplers look like that really crappy silicone that dries out and crumbles apart. im just trying to help you out so you wont have to do this twice and learn the hard way. either way you go good luck turbo is really fun.
i bought my charge pipes from www.tunnertoys.com all i had to buy was an extra ubend 2.5" all around
i hate to thread jack but i also hate starting new threads, im planning on purchasing a basic ebay CIA (2.5") solid pipe and getting my bov welded to it to upgrade my 3 piece charge pipe setup, i know alot of guys have done this does anyone know what would fit the best, running straight from the tb bending nicely into the whole and i have relocated my battery so nothing is in the way i dont want to buy the DA one because i dont want the battery bend in the pipe…for example would a CIA for 92-95 civic, 94-01 teg, 96-00 civic etc etc be the best fitment thanks
