Do you want the best pistons and rods or the cheapest? You cant have your cake and eat it too.

You can however compromise on quality and price and end up somewhere in the middle.

I like CP or Weisco pistons personally and you have your choice of Eagle, Pauter, Crower or Manley rods.

race engineering has like a piston rod combo.
i think you can get like weisco pistons with eagel h beams for like $775
(rings, pins included)

I am leaning toward CP and Wiseco. I couldn’t tell you which handles more, but I’ve HEARD that those are the best pistons for FI. anyone wanna try to differ the 2 to make it easy to see what’s what? for Rods, I would go with Eagle “H” beam or Pauter rods.
