hey guys. ive got a 92 DA with a greddy turbo setup. im using the blue greddy e-manage piggy back. im running 183 hp & 156 ft lbs of torque on 6 1/2 psi. i just had it tuned ant it ran fine that night while the check engine light was on. well, the next day i started to drive i and noticed that the cel wasn’t on. good thing right… no. i have come to notice that it runs fine with the light on but it runs really rough when its off, (rich i think). can neone tell me how i may fix this??? any help is greatly appreciated.
what code was it witht he light on?
sorry, should have included that. 3(map sensor), and 43(fuel supply system).
bump
does it only do this when boost comes on?
no. i think i found my problem though. the owner before me put a spoon chip in the ecu that increases fuel flow under acceleration. could this be interfiering with the e manage???
First you have to get a wideband to see if car is running rich. Tune your emanage from there. I would swap out the map sensor for one that you know is working. From what i am guessing your stock computer is seeing a boost condition thats why it the cel came on. thats what happened to me when i plug a spoon chipped ecu by mistake.
ok, so one more question. what year did the integra swich from obd1 to obd2???
96
thanks buddy. does neone have a spare ecu???
Xenocron
use the same setup you have but get a real tune with neptune or crome, once you get a new ecu get rid of the piggyback it will be more reliable, more accurate and i bet youll make more power
has anyone here used Xenocron’s basemaped chips or any of their other products? if so, what did you think???
I have A+
Xenocron rocks!
xenocron street tuned 16psi
