My turbo crower cams, valve springs, sprockets, pistons and rods are on the way…Im very new into Honda, this will be my first Hondaa project, my last car being a 240sx with an SR, i know a really random move, but im curious into what numebrs and potential i can get with my B18A motor, one thing I would like to ask the G2IC members is since im really new my search isn’t that great when it comes to finding the right ECU tuning and injectors, can anyone directed in a way i can find a good deal on a ECU tuning, and injectors, prefer 440cc thanx in advance.
On this site in the forums section u will under vendors u will see xenocron. Or goto www.xenocron.com chris is a member here and he also sells chipping kits or u can send him ur ecu to get chipped. If ur car is obd1 u can run uberdata or crome for ems. Looks like u need a few more items for ur turbo kit.
U can get 440 injectors from a dsm turbo used on the net or buy them brand new from the website that the others posted
hey man, i have a jdm gsr swapped into my 92 DA. i have a built head and its turboed with a customized greddy 18g kit. im makin 260whp and 215wtq. ok now that i got my general setup and lame bragging rights out of the way, i can possibly get u some nice dsm 440 bluetop injectors that would be good for about 300-350whp max. I’m using a obd1 p28 ecu chipped using crome pro. crome pro is amazing and fairly cheap about $150 and its got many nice features and very user friendly, lots of people use it and stand by it so i recommend it. let me know about the injectors or u can talk to xenocron here on the forums he can help you out with crome and chipping an ecu for ur needs along with probably also finding you injectors. I didnt know jack about honda engines, building them, or turbocharging them but i’ve spent countless hours reading info online and reading different manuals and now im considered around my area and with my local car club as the honda tech guide sorta person, everyone looks to me for answers on what to do or how to do it. the internet has taught me more than any school or teacher ever has so i suggest u just read around online, honda-tech.com and g2ic are great starters. hope this helps and if u have any questions, ask me, I do all my own work and have lots of knowledge on this subject. seeya
yea man that would be awesome, deff let me know how much it would cost for the injectors and how to get them…and do you know where i can find the site at for the ECU for 150 bucks, and when it comes to trying to order for ecu reflash, it just gets confusing to me.
The DSM blue tops are 450cc, and you’ll be damn near close to 100% duty cylce on them as you near 300whp. If your goals are higher then you’ll need bigger.
wow 1000cc. no thats all rigth with me, im not looking to go any higher then 300 if i can reach that with the right tuning…but just out of curiosity for all you turbo b18a, i know the comression is 9:1 so what is the most amount of boost pushed to the stock motor???
really depends on the size of the turbo. but our motors (b18a) at the stock compression ratio can handle about 12psi out of a t3/t4 turbo. that is high, but i’ve known b18a’s to run similar numbers with that size turbo. power was pretty good, in the neighborhood of 370-390 at the wheels. that was with upgraded fuel system and tuning. but for the most part, stock reciprocating mass inside the engine. not saying thats a good idea, just saying its possible. i’d build the motor a bit first. and definately consider lowering the compression a bit. if nothing else, get a thicker head gasket to put it just a touch lower. the more room in the combustion chamber for the forced air, the better (and safer).
was your SR 240 turbo? a guy in my town has an SR20DE in his 92 240 but its not turbo, and its slow as hell  lol
well yea i deff have l;ow compression pistons, but i wasnt sure where to have the boost at, but yea my 95 240 had an sr20det black top…the best i did with it was 12.80 with stock turbo 15psi, stock block, stage 1 cams, pulleys, FMIC, 3in downpipe and 3in cat back…with 17x8 and 17x9.5 fulls suspension…so it was a clean lookin car, and it pulled nice
damn it, this is twice today it wouldn’t let me edit, anyway
also, give this bad boy a read. its THE comprehensive read, on turbocharging a 90-93 integra. this baby is golden. its got alot of general turbocharging knowledge etc. but also some g2 integra specific stuff. GREAT read, it should answer almost ALL of your questions. if you have more after reading, feel free to ask. http://www.beesandgoats.com/boostfaq/g2icturbo.html
