Turbo setup coming to a close! Let me hear some opinions!

Well guys, my setup is finally approaching the end. Let me know what you think of the setup…

Should I go ahead and upgrade the fuel pump, and get an adjustable FPR? Possibly looking into some ARP rod bolts as well. Let me get some opinions on the setup! Should be out within the next few weeks…

Everything looks good. I would definitely go to a walbro 255 HP if you plan on running some good numbers.

Also, I would edit that the “JRC 6’’ Tyrus” is your intercooler just for those few people that have no idea and might want to chime in. :slight_smile:

defenitely a walbro 255 fuel pump. What fuel management are you going to use? Your car still OBD0?

coroncho80 - Yeah my car is still obd0 with a 93 motor. It’s being tuned with TurboEdit.

With the Walbro 255 do I still need a FPR to tune with or should the stock would be fine? And I’m also having 2nd thoughts about the Phantom Grip b/c of all the bad things I’ve been reading. The only thing that I haven’t gotten yet was the clutch/pressure plate and phantom grip.

I highly suggest you talk to your tuner. J. Davis will be very helpful I’m sure.

That’s the problem, I haven’t been able to get a response from him for over 2 weeks now. LOL…He’s probably just really busy.

He is a busy guy…but he’s good, so just be persistant :slight_smile:

i would get the walbro, and loose the phantom grip. i have heard bad things about them, and in essence they just lock the differential, which is bad for turning and whatnot if im not mistaken. there is a reason they are that much cheaper then quaifes. everything else looks good. the turbo you chose will make real nice midrange

how do you like the blox turbo mani? it looks like a copy of the inlinepro only cheaper, which is good for my budget!

i think the stock fpr should be fine, just re route the vacuum line to the pre-turbo pipe, but u definitely wanna get a walbro 255 fuel pump.

wow… another person with the same turbo size as me… let me know how it runs with your setup…

my setup, much ghetto’er then urs ran 14.8… and the turbo was actually smaller, on a FMU, stock ecu, and LS tranny w/ no LSD, and crap tires…

what kind of turbo is it? T3 from a thunderbird?

my new setup is having 2" chargepiping, & 2.25 from mid of FMIC to TB, and hondata s200 w/ boost, & RC 370CC injectors…

the 1G BOV’s sound really nice… i had that on my last setup… it’s pretty loud, but very wooooshy… it really works well… :up:
