Yes sir, on account of using a ‘backdoor style’ intercooler, (meaning that the outlet of the turbo goes directly to the inlet of the intercooler via a coupler) so no drivers side piping needed, also quickens spool-up…
The piping was made using two 92-95 civic ‘cold pipes’ and some couplers, here’s a pic-
very nice! both of the cars… jasper are your internals all stock? the engine bay is very nice… redtegra i just read your build… keeping myself posted on that one to see your numbers on the dyno!! i was gonna go the vtec head route but i already had the things for my head… i’ll see how mine does first once its finished and compare numbers… and i see your gonna go with a new turbo t3t04e 57 trim…
Shaolyn, thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. and to answer your question, it is a sleeved b20 block with arp head studs, stock head, cams, etc…However, i did polish out my skunk 2 intake mani, and match ported it to the throttle body to help compensate for the crappy flow of a b20 head=( Gotta save, and upgrade along the way like most people…How is your build coming along? how bout some pics there, Op…
only going to go t3t4 if the shaft is crooked on my gt28. otherwise im keeping the gt28. the rebuild cost is the same as a new t3t4 but i wont have to change my turbine flanges. plus i much rather stay dual ball bearing.
i’ll have to upload my pictures on photobucket… none of them are current but close to it… i need to go buy myself another camera last one was stolen from me:gunleft:
