turbo/ super charger

i know that turbos are not very safe with the b20

do in anyone know how safe is a supper charger is (or is it the same way)

i found one that takes the place of the ps pump

According to The book “How to build Honda Horsepower : Dyno Verified Results” by Richard Holdener CARTECH publishing , a company called PowerTrain Dynamics built several supercharger kits using a PowerDyne centrifugal supercharger back in the early 90’s. The PowerDyne unit was placed in the area next to the power steering pump (by the photos in the book you can see that the power steering fluid bottle had to be relocated to the other side of the engine bay next to the battery) facing the pump. The book has several graphs which reflect that PTD was able to make 186 hp /172.4 tq on a b18a and 237 hp / 166.7 tq on a b17a. The article also states that THE KIT WAS NEVER MASS PRODUCED. This in turn tells us a few things

  1. You stole the John Titor time machine and took it back to 1993 where you broke into PTD’s r&d garage and stole a prototype powerdyne supercharger unit.
  2. found someone luckly enough to have obtained a Powerdyne unit (and dumb enough to sell it)
  3. Have a SERIOUS reading comprehension problem.
