Up-to-date cluster/climate control LED conversion.

Back from the dead, again.
I know its pretty much spelled out.
But i want to verify before i go spending money that i shouldnt spend in the first place, lol.

I need these following lights, correct?

(2) WLED-x5: 5 LED T10 Wide Angle Wedge Base Bulb
(4) T1.5-x: 5mm LED Instrument Twist Lock Lamp
(4) 74-x: Wedge Base LED bulb

Thanks in advanced.

Anybody? Sorry to bug, but id love to get mine done… but would also hate to tear my cluster out and realize I have the wrong bulbs.

Been forever since I did an LED conversion on a DA, don’t even own a DA anymore. Anything I’d end up answering would be pulled from my first post.

If there is still any interest in this conversion.
The OP w/ the original pictures I posted aren’t working.
I thought they were on photobucket which was free back then.

If anyone wants those pictures restored PM me or let me know and I’ll edit the links and moved them to a different webserver.

EDIT: I just looked at the raw HTML, let me correct myself…

Back of cluster-

Top of cluster

Climate control panel

They were hosted on g2ic itself.

So I can either dig those pictures back up when I get a chance and host them or re-upload them  Maybe a mod can fix that?
I also I don’t seem to be able to EDIT the OP.
So a mod restoring the images would be ideal.
95% I can find them if it would help anyone.

You can’t edit the op because it’s my thread.

I did the conversion based on your write-up, but ran in to some issues due to some changes SBL made on their bulbs. Due to those changes, I wrote up my own updated guide which you’ve just replied to.

SBL sells a few different style of 74’s and for the other bulbs. I did this a few years ago and havemt had a problem. Those led’s seem to be holding up great. I did all interior lights and also put a blue piece of acrylic over my clock to give it that blue.
