Got anymore intercoolers?![]()
is it just me or does it look like u could eat off ur motor…
MIKE,
It looks awesome! I don’t know if I would put that accordion type bent hose on that is near the throttle body. It seems like there would be quite a bit of flow disturbance compared to a molded bent hose.
Keep up the good work:up:
I took her out last night, and at 5psi she feels very strong. No stumbling or breaking down, just smooth acceleration throughout the power band. I am VERY VERY IMPRESSED. I drove it in to work today and it stayed a half temperature as always and didn’t budge. This is a big plus because this week has been extremly hot up here and the humidity outside is so thick you can cut it with a knife (Its 110 degrees). Days like this make me regret pulling out my AC, until I step on the throttle:p I plan to put some milege on her for a couple weeks and just tune it the best I can. Then she goes on the Dyno to see what she can really do. I am so reved up about this setup and the way it performs. I couldn’t sleep worth a s h i t last night because I didn’t expect it to pull so hard at just 5psi and 5000rpm. I am breaking in the motor right now so I am not reving it past 5000rpm, weekend time coming, that will all change. All I can say is, if you don’t have a turbo teg, you gotta get one. People said VTEC is total fun factor, I say turbo is. What a blast I am having with this car.![]()
ok i just saw ur zdyne secu im officially insanely jealous. how long did zdyne take to do ur secu? very very very nice by the way ![]()
DA9_LS-t- If Bill at Zdyne gets your ecu today, its a one day turn around time right now. This Zdyne unit keeps all factory characteristics of the car, and alot less headaches of check valves and FMU’s. Its very user friendly. I would reccomend it to anyone. If you can get in on a group buy you can save alot of money. I know a buddy thats interested right now in getting one, he will pay full price for it if knowbody goes in on it with him after messing around with mine. Hit me up if you or anyone else is interested.
Awesome install, too bad you couldn’t keep A/C. What is your final expected psi? There isn’t much quite like the feeling of a FI car you installed yourself. Keep us posted on your car after the break-in.

damn thats alot of sit on that car! what was your total cost for all the goodies and what was the downtime of the car to get it done hour wise? sweet car man keep it up!
thompson23-Its hard to say how much it cost me because everything I sold when I was N/A paid for all my turbo stuff. The turbo, intercooler, wastegate, and fuel pump all came from my GN. I have been piecing this kit together for 2 years. I took the car off the road in January and just got it back on the road a month ago. If I had all the parts it would take about 5 hours to put on this turbokit. Slow and steady wins the race. Pace yourself and go for it, if it takes some time. Don’t worry about it, because it is worth the wait. Since I have put on this kit. I have gone out every night looking for victims. So far.
LS1 Trans am with C5 Vette motor /beat him by a car rolling in 2nd gear to the top of 4th
87 GN/ from a dead stop
2002 Mustang/ rolling in 2nd gear/ wasn’t even a race
TypeR/ absolutely no competition/ waste of my gas
S2000/ from a dead stop/ another waste of time
All these cars got fed some lumps:clap: TURBOS ARE AMAZING!
so the GN is dead? or u upgrade that bad boy lol

Hahaha sounds like your having fun with your turbo. Dont you just like the looks on those domestic guys faces when you hand them their asses. keep up the good work. My DA need a little bit more tunning and my map sensor vacum lines need to get plugged up and a lot of cleaning. but other than that she should be out. FI is the only way to go.
JETSWU87 - so the GN is dead? or u upgrade that bad boy lol
I have had my GN since 91 so all the stock parts are gone. Its a high 9 sec daily driver. I thought my Integra was fast until I jumped in the Buick last night. There is a major difference between the two. The Integra is smooth hard acceleration, and the Buick is just violent. Check the link to see her http://community.webshots.com/user/ricketts100
Hell ya, turbo is the way to go!!! I like chasing down those domestic punks and showing them some import power!! Every mustang that has stood their ground against my LS turbo have fallen!! Even the mighty rsx type s has been showed what boost can do… turbo is DEFENITELY the way to go!!
