technically nothing, i had plenty of the paint. only thing i had to get was the duplicolor “ground coat” so it would have a nice “anodized” look. out of pocket, i spent $20 for the VC gasket, and $8 for the paint.
on a normal basis, say for a normal valve cover paint job (for a fellow member/friend/customer etc.) Materials usually cost me around $20 per. depending on what needs to be done etc. If they want a color that I already have, I’d charge less, since I wouldn’t have to make a special trip to get anything to do it.
The VC’s I’ve done for friends, I either did for free (as I either owed them a favor/money etc. or I did it as a favor to them, and in return, they’d owe me a favor) or I’d do it for around $40-$50. $20 for materials, and $20-$30 labor. Something more detailed and intricate will obviously run a little more, as it will take a lot longer to do the job, compared to just a good prime/paint/clear.

Yes those are MSD Super Condictors on my motor. I have no problems with em’. Work fine for me.
Back on track. My VC. Josh (g2ic member/sponser Extreme Powder Coaters) did it about a year and a half ago. I’m gonna miss it when the vTak fairy comes.
