vortech super charger on a b18ba

i have a 93 ls with the original motor and stock internals so far
i saw that vortech now has a new supercharger for the integra but only for 94 and up .do you think it will fit the da wit out or minor modification???
i dont want to turbo it cuz i have a fluidyne radiator regular size and the turbo wont fit. i have to by a civic size one to turbo it
i was also debating to just go all motor and buy a new one and slap it in
maybe a spoon or the beast from dh-racing .com
what would be the best , budget wise

if I’m not mistaken someone who used to be a member here put a vortech supercharger on a b17a or b16a. I seem to remember fitment being a real bitch. Do a search for it.

i think that member a put a civic or may be a diferent one but now they make it especially for the 94 integra . im not sure how long vortech have made an integra only product but its news to me. and it seemes to be the easyest to put on, space wise. plus jackson racing stoped making it for the da

what do you have on your teg???
have you messed arround whith the internals??
its hard to find a good mechanick where i live
so the best i can do is buy mostly in already done kits (bolt ons)

Sweet. Whats the average output or gain via supercharger? I dont want to turbo my car cuz I want to keep it low profile so ppl dont steal my sh!t. Also I dont want ppl to know Im using FI. EVEN if the JRSC or VSC only take you to like say up to 180whp. Thats still better than stock right. I want some more info on this too.

its been covered a million times. search and you will see that the JRSC does not fit and the vortech required extensive modification.

Yea I seen how the VSC mounts in the G3, it looks like the only extensive work that needs to be done is relocate the battery. Maybe mounting brackets but thats minor.

as far as what I gained from the information that B17aVortech had was with ABS you need to modify the aftercooler kit to fit. for that you can go aftermarket aftercooler kit and if you don’t have ABS, don’t worry about it. my buddy wanted to do a VOrtech supercharger on his DA. it’s do-able and the only thing that I can see what you would need to do IF you don’t have ABS is to move the battery

B17Vortech. I searched for Vortech and came up with stuff from 2001. Here goes.

B17Vortech:

for B16 use the civic SI kit.
The fit issues only really concern the battery, AC line, and the ABS. Both must be removed unless you don’t want to use the water to air intercooled version. The Battery and the AC line are occupying the space for supercharger. (you do need to drill a hole in the clutch cable bracket.) There are no chassis fit issues for the Vortech kit. I did have to do probably the most severe modification of a crossmember anyone’s done in order to get a Hi-tech custom Type R header installed. I used a skunk2 Intake Manifold which the aftercooler fit perfectly, I am not sure how tight the aftercooler fit would be if your using a different manifold. It’s a tight fit but I was still able to install a front strut tower after the install was done. I do suggest switching your crank pulley with a CRV crank pulley.

One more thing, you can’t use your stock power steering. You can change to a 99/00 SI pump and 99/00 SI PS line (you need to use only that model civic, you can’t use other models.) or you could just go without PS. I still haven’t bought a PS line I have the pump installed

only pic i have, don’t know too much about the car. vortech supercharged DA. got in this site about 2 years ago. i believe the member said it was a US spec b18c1 with a powdercoated valve cover. onto the pic:
